RESEARCH INTERESTS:

A basic observation is that most, if not all animals, show idiosyncratic behaviours. Furthermore, most, if not all, phenotypic behaviours are sensitive to environmental influences. These two observations form the core of my research interests: to understand the processes involved in the development of animal personality traits, and to translate this understanding into relevant applied outcomes. Understanding the developmental ecology of animal personality traits represents exciting opportunities to progress fundamental evolutionary thinking and enact powerful and realistic applied outcomes.
